New Year's Eve Dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel?

Hi All,
My fiance and I will be in Disney World for our honeymoon on New Year's Eve! We'll be in Epcot and are considering the New Year's Eve special dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel. Has anyone done it?

I know it's pricey, but I really like the idea of not having to fight the crowds, wait 45 minutes to go to the bathroom, and have to camp out a spot for IllumiNations an hour or more in advance.

I know the view is good from the restaurant, but I also know New Year's Eve is basically the end all, be all fireworks show. Will it be a good enough view?

I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of tying ourselves to one place the whole night. Any advice?

Thanks!

My philosophy is enjoy your dinner and then enjoy the fireworks. My experience has been that trying to do both is nothing but anxiety. Will I get a good table? Will other people crowd around my table while I eat? Will food be on my plate while the fireworks are going off? Not worth it to me anyway.

And I feel that way about Wishes as well. It's nice to be at your table at Cali Grill while the fireworks are going on, but it's even better to go out on the deck or up to TOWL.

And for NYE you will need to get a spot 2 hours before the show, maybe longer if you want a good spot.

You should get a pretty good view from La Hacienda, however there are some seats that only have so-so views, so be prepared. I think it sounds like a fun idea, especially the less crowds thing.
