New Years Resolutions - 1 month on

Hi All,

Just having a round up of how I have done on my resolutions so far.

I was supposed to make mine at the top of the highest peak in the south of England but the weather was so bad we did not quite make it to the top. I have posted photos of the day before and a couple of our hike up, the one with the stream and just mist is supposed to be the top!

Mine were:
Buy no craft - I have a huge stash of work in progress. Check I have bought no new craft.
Lose weight - A staple NYR - Check, I have lost 3lbs
Cook at least 2 things from scratch each month - Check, I made a Chilli, A Curry and BBQ pulled pork.

How is everyone else doing? Did you make any? Are you sticking to them?

Good for you!

I try not to make resolutions other then to try and make each year better in some way than the year before. muchlove

Congratulations and good for you! Nice pics, though it looks quite chilly to us Californians! Lol.

I made a resolution to not fall from a hayloft, not have a major injury and not have any surgeries in 2015! So far, so good laugh

I really like that - is a great attitude to have. Never really considered that before. I do the 'what am I thankful for this year?' But it can be so easy to get bogged down in daily grinds. biggrin

It was 37F, but with a lot of wind chill to add! Brrrrr I would love to say 'the cold never bothered me anyway' but it did!
It's always good to not fall from hay lofts or anywhere else (Bryn lives out now so I don't have one to fall from now biggrin ). I hope you stay injury free for more than 11 months!
