Newbie!

Hey all.... New to the group... I am a dedicated Disney fan, also on a couple other forums.... I'm from Bermuda and have been traveling to Disney since I was a young boy... Now as an adult I think i like it even more, so HAD to sign up for the grownups forum......

I am getting married this year in June (In Bermuda not Disney, couldn't swing that with the Fiance) and I am planning a full days in WDW with my brother and a couple of friends May 4th can't come fast enough!!

Looking forward to insights and learning more!

Ian

Disney favs.... hmmmm I think an all time fav is Space Mountain at MK.... Can't be beat! My fav park as an adult recently has been Epcot but you still can't beat the "magic" of Magic Kingdom... I know this may sound a beat strange but I watch disney stuff on youtube and it give me the chills! I havent been in like 2.5 years so i am itching to go... When i tell people how many times I've been they almost fall over... I guess lving in Bermuda your not expected to have been around 20 plus times in 34 years..... But oh well I think it's awesome!!!

We are actually staying off property at a timeshare.... In all my times going to Disney I have stayed on property twice, once at Polynesian and once at Coranado Springs....

I have just started my ADR, planing Teppan Edo one night and trying to get California Grill but that is proving difficult, and possibly lunch at Be Our Guest!

Any suggestions for dinner to see Wishes?

Out of the park I would say Narcossee's at Grand Floridian if you want something more high end, OHana at the Polynesian if you want it to be more low key.

welcome Ian and congrats ! Your bachelor weekend at Disney is the same day as my wedding, haha--mine won't be at Disney either (but it's still Disney-themed) and we'll be heading to Disney May 5th for our honeymoon! And I totally hear you about watching Disney things on Youtube and getting the chills: I've been watching the fireworks shows on Youtube the last few nights and almost tearing up! Love Disney so much!

Every time we are in the pub in England there is some kind of bachelor/bachelorette party. The Hat Lady is awesome and really good at creating memories for everyone in there, but she is HILARIOUS with those in a bachelor party or bride or groom.

What a fun way to kick off your nuptials! Smile

Do you enjoy the other parks, in addition to Epcot and MK? What are your favorites there?

How many hours does it take to get from Bermuda to Orlando??
