Bill, I just read your first PDF. It sounds just like the trip we planned although since we never read Mickey Spillane novels and grew up in the 80's everything happened in color. I can't wait to read the rest!
OK, here's the long awaited report on our 2nd day.

Ha, what a great day 2! Love your hilarious commentary on the chairs--I agree, what was the design team thinking? They're just so large!!

Your trip report is great. I can't wait to walk that Wilderness trail!
no ticker
I agree about the chairs. I am short and I would look like Alice in Wonderful when she drank the shrinking potion if I sat in the chairs.
Great report Bill! I love that hidden Mickey in the beams. Very cool.
And yes, those chairs just look...odd.
Can't wait for Day 3! No pressure, though...
Here's a closeup of the hideous chairs. The red seat cushions add another whole level of hideousness. And don't get me started on the rug. Chevrons are so last year. You just know they didn't by these at CB2 or Jonathan Adler... See I surf ApartmentTherapy.com...
I can't believe there have been more comments about the chairs than the cowboy scene.
Working on the last installment tonight. NHshorty is on the road, so the review process may take a little longer.

The chairs do not really surprise me. There are big chairs like that in the Beach Club. I was very glad to see someone else take a picture of a bathroom though. I have several that I have managed to get when I happened to be the only in there.
Hey Jeff....13 days for you guys......
We interrupt this trip report to bring you this:
And now, back to you, Bill....
Sort of late to the party here, but. . .
STOOPID SHOES!!! Those furry ones get me every time!
Such a good report, Bill! Relaxed and so laid back. You had me so calm and cool, I didn't even mind the chairs and chevron rug!
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

Couldn't have said it better myself, uggi2kd. Yes they are stoopid chairs.

Good one, Bill!!!
Thanks, JeffC. You know what they say, when the forum hands you spam, make spam-aide.
NHshorty and I have each been traveling on business separately for the most of the last half of February, so this last episode took a bit longer than usual. Anyway, here it is, just click on the link.
and a combination repeat homage to JeffC and a look at my potential next career move.
You make me smile I concur - hat yes, tie no. We'd make an awesome sight together!
That PDA outside Germany was quite disturbing! I wouldn't be surprised if they were there all day and well into the evening! For shame...
Excellent report yet again. Thanks!
