I don't like cheese sauce so I'm actually happy about this. I do feel bad for all those people that loved it though sad

What's the official reason? The article doesn't say and the comments are just people speculating.

I'm guessing because of lawsuits from people who were burned. I know of one from a couple of years ago. A little boy got burned. I don't blame Disney for that one. From what I remember the parents left in on the table within the kid's reach. Someone mentioned in a comment on a facebook post there was a second (I haven't read anything about it).

Were they burned from eating it or getting on their skin? It sounds really strange as there are all sorts of things that can burn people. The coffee dispensers at resorts come to mind.

I think the kid got it on his skin if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the link, JoAnn.

I really don't get it though. This law suit stuff is crazy. I mean, what if he had pulled the handle on a coffee machine? Would they have to then get rid of coffee? People have to start taking responsibility for things like this. I wish there was a governing body that would look these law suits and throw them out. Chalk it up as lesson learned and move on.

Totally ridiculous in my opinion.

There was also speculation on another site that it is in response to the upcoming ban on trans fat the FDA announced a little while back. Personally, that sounds more realistic to me than a delayed response from a lawsuit.

They can make that stuff without trans fats. And they are still serving it, you just have to ask for it at the counter. I wouldn't be surprised if some Disney business person figured out they would use 6.2% less cheese if they make people have to request it. Cash
