Non Disney Hotel for 1 night

Hi Everyone

We are going to WDW the first week of March. Driving down Saturday the 28th and will be early evening wanting to stay at a non Disney Hotel for the night. Where would you stay? Do not want to pay more then $75. We are checking into POP the following morning for our week long stay.

Thank you in advance.

We stayed at: Comfort Inn Orlando - Lake Buena Vista; 8686 Palm Pkwy Orlando, FL, 32836 It was comfortable had a minimal continental breakfast and close to Disney. It met our needs and we would stay there again. Cost was right at $100.00

Found it through one of the web sites that lists hotels etc.

We stayed at a LaQuinta in Kissimmee once, but that was 11 years ago. It was really nice at the time and I'm sure it was cheap because we had just gotten married and moved into a new apartment and we basically had no money, but they might not even be there anymore!

The only place I've stayed offsite in the past decade is at the Sheraton Vistana timeshare property on route 535 near Vineland Ave. That was lovely, but it doesn't really suit your purpose.

We've always had good luck with Comfort Inn and LaQuinta. Best Western can be hit and miss, but they're usually passable, particularly if it is just for one night.

I like Marriott Courtyards and Fairfield Inns, both close to DTD off Palm Parkway and/or Vineland. Never paid over 100 per night, but that does depend on when you go. mickey
