Only A Few More Days Until The Secret Is Out

I can't tell you all how hard it has been to keep this birthday surprise a secret from my other half. We're down to 5 days today.

I'm in pre-trip mode.

Cleaning the house, doing laundry, and packing.

I've got to get the car its check up (2 new tires, car wash, oil change) since we'll be driving.

Getting tip envelopes and toll money together.

And of course, wasting time in the forums and various Disney blogs trying to get more ideas of what we might want to do.

I can't wait to finally tell him where we're headed. I won't give him the details of the daily surprises that I have in store (dinner with our friends, dinner at Yachtsman, Cirque, MNSSHP)

Thank you all for your tips and help. As much as I am excited about this trip being a surprise for his 30th, I am also excited since it's my first time to Disney.

I love watching kid surprise Disney trip videos. I am sure would be neat to see an adult reaction.

I just took the car to get two new tires ($300, OUCH!)

I'll be getting the car washed tomorrow.

I still need to pack.

Eeek!!

J, I've never thought about videoing it. I'll have to do that. I won't be about share because of his job and stuff, but I think it'll be a neat memory to have video of!

Kristen, Packed? Hahahahahaha... that's my goal today.

I've been running around getting things together. My goal today is to clean the house and pack.

I just finished my tip envelopes. I'll show pics when I do a trip report. Smile

Oh, and I was just able to get Boma for two hours earlier, so now we can do Boma before Cirque without having to rush!! So excited!!!

Two more days!!!! Seriously.. this is KILLING me. Lol I keep asking him if he's excited about next week. He's like I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING NEXT WEEK!!! lololol

Kristen, I was going to tell him when we got on the road, but he's being so grumpy because he thinks that we're doing some Georgia mountain cabin thing (SO not him!! haha) that I'll wait until we either miss the turn for Georgia and take the turn towards south Florida.. or if he's asleep, he'll know when we stop for lunch in Gainsville to see a friend of mine. Lol

He's been so mad all day today, it's cracking me up. He keeps asking if I'm sure I can't get a refund of some sort. LOL

On the bright side, he's going to be ONE happy guy when he finds out we're really Disney bound!!

Alright, time to catch a few hours of sleep. I still need to finish packing and cleaning. lol

We are home.

I am exhausted.

Full trip report will hopefully go up some time this weekend.

I enjoyed my trip, but there were some things I didn't like about it as well. I'll explain more later.
