Malwillms, forgive me - I can't remember where you're from - but October through March can be wildly unpredictable down here in the Sunshine State. It can be 80s one day, and 50s (or worse) and blustery the next day. Normally, we're still experiencing summer-like weather in October, but I'd say pack summer wear, with at least one pair of long pants and one sweatshirt/light jacket per person, especially if you get cold easily. (Floridians become superwimps, so what may feel cold to me might not be so bad to you ) Plan to layer with lightweight clothing that you can peel off as it warms up. Remember too - even if it's not "warm" it will be in the sun. Also, don't forget the hats and the suncreen and sunglasses - you will still need them in October. Finally, plan to visit weather.com starting 10 days out, and monitor it. The weather has a way of changing. We planned an overnite trip to WDW in February 2010. I packed based on the weather forecast 2 days out, and we froze to death! We didn't know that they revised the temps down just 24 hours before.
Hope this helps!
