Here's a question..does anyone miss the wand?? I do a little bit actually.
Not really. Of course I am only speaking for myself.

Jeff.....Do you scrapbook?
I have a very liberal interpretation of scrapbookking, but I do try. It's not fancy, but it makes me happy!
I had honestly forgotten about the wand....so I went back and looked at our pics from 2003 and found this one....I think I like it better without....Was there a story behind the wand? Was it like an anniversary thing?
The wand originally read "2000" for the Millennium Celebration. Article about the wand and also a pic of the castle when it was a birthday cake for 25th(which is what my kids saw the first time they arrived at MK).
I do not miss the wand. Spaceship Earth needs no embellishment imo. Here's a fave of mine that I snapped last month, entitled, "My Happy Place." First view, for EMH.
(Oof. Castle-as-bday-cake. Those were dark days. We were so glad when they fixed it back, although there was a swell version of the bday castle, floating on a cloud, at MCO.)
Wide Shot
Wide Shot
I really like that one

I am jealous of you all! My honeymoon was in 2006 & I bought ALL the stuff..and I did the first page. Five years later..that's all I've done.
Bella you are ahead of me, married 2006 and all the gear is still in a bag somewhere..... I am not even sure where.

With fireworks globe and with monorail
That would look really cool on a credit card
Right now I have the ceiling of the Grand Floridian Lobby, I'm kinda bored with it though and capital one lets you change the picture on your card all the time. The rule is though that it can't be something copyrighted or obviously belonging to a business. So, when it comes to a Disney picture you have to keep it slightly obscure.
This is my favorite of mine so far:
My, EPCOT, what a large ball you have. by alicia bruce, on Flickr

Beautiful definition and color. Fisheye lens?
I have a couple that I like:
It draws my eye every visit, and I try to find new ways of seeing it, better angles and colors.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.
J. R. R. Tolkien
Wow Ollie. I like both of those! None of mine turned out so well.
Diana
Time marches on. Eventually you realize it's doing it across your face.
Thank you, finngirl. I love shapes and angles, shadow and light. The ball is good for both!
