Pictures of the other parks?

Does anyone have any good pictures from Universal, Sea World, etc? We didn't take any the last time we went and I feel bad about that. As soon as we do Harry Potter we'll be sure to get some pics of that! I've heard it's in soft opening now, but I haven't found many pics online.

There are loads of pics on the Orlando Sentinel website. They are reporting that WizWoHaPo is open for Universal hotel guests from 8am to 11am and general public from 9am to 11am. Hopefully that 11am close will be extended over the next week or so.

I have loads of pics from the other parks, but not many that I'm really proud of. I'll dig a few out and post them.

OK here goes. Seaworld first.

What an awesome thread, Brad!!!

Tony and Vettelover, your pics are like publicity photos! I love the Hulk one and that Trolley Car is too cool.

Now I have to go to Sea World and eat at that shark thing. Was the food any good?

It's the most expensive restaurant in Seaworld and the food was definately worth it. The menu is mostly seafood iirc though.

Some old (but good) pics there VL. The BTTF train isn't in there anymore since it's now the Simpsons ride and the dolphin stadium at Seaworld looks very different since they opened the Blue Horizons show. I'll dig out some more recent pics to compare.

These photos are really making me crave a trip to these spots. I haven't been to Universal in years, and I've never been to Sea World.

Also, I'm loving the detail in these. I usually just whiz right by stuff like this in favor of the rides. I'm a typical tourist at these parks (unlike at Disney, where I love looking at the detail.)

As promised, the Blue Horizons (Dolphin show) set. You can tell it's the same area as in VL's pics, but has had a bit of a make over for the current show.

Unfortunately I don't seem to have any of the Simpsons ride.

Cool picture, Tony. Reminds me of one of the more humorous terminological differences between UK English and American English. Known here as a 'fanny pack', that has a whole different (chuckle-inducing) meaning in the UK.

Yes a 'fanny pack' is called a 'bum bag' in the UK. 'Fanny' refers to part of a ladies anatomy, although it used to be a common ladies name.
Thats not me in the pic by the way.

Right you are sir. I've had some friends from the UK over the years. One from north of London I used to hang out with and a friend from a small village near Manchester whom I still talk to most days. I've had a few terms bleed over into my vernacular.

That really would make it worth ten times the entry price, alas the closest you get is the Shuttle Launch Experience simulator which places you as a passenger in the cargo hold.

Wow, Tony, I haven't been there in so long! It's bringing back all kinds of memories to see those pics of Nasa. I'd love to get over there soon...we just can't tear ourselves away from the few days we have in Disney when we're there!
