Pin Traders...

DH, friend and I hit the Central Jersey Disney Pin Traders 'Trade Till You Drop' event on Sat. They were at a Hotel all weekend and had trading, raffles, free prizes, scavenger hunts, etc. We only did Sat eve and left, but had a blast and got to meet the author of the Tomart books about pins, disneyana, etc and got to riffle thru his personal pin collection. We even had him sign our 6th ed Pin Trading Guide. mickey He told us ed. 7 is due out in Decemeber. Can't wait. (Can we say holiday wish list?)

We are definetly doing the CJDPT all weekend trade in April. It was like a mini Disney vacation in Sommerville, NJ.

Thats really cool. Wish I could find one like that around me.... just sounds like a good time! biggrin

Just in case there are people reading this in the Chicagoland area, Tom Tombush (the author of the Tomart books mentioned above) is also a regular to the Windy City Pin Traders monthly pin meet. He is on our WCPT mailing list. So any Chicagoland pin traders can also participate in a similar monthly pin trading activity. Our website is at
