It sure put a smile to my face this morning and it is still a mystery to us.
Are Pixies real? Is there a place, just on the other side of that rainbow, where all your dreams come true? Come on, hasn't that thought popped into your head just once, if not for just a brief millisecond?
Monday I had to to take my car into the body shop to get repaired, scrappy and I were rear ended a two weeks ago, nobody hurt and barely any damage, but I needed to get it fixed. I cleaned out the car which didn't have much in it anyway, but I knew they would detail it before I got it back, so I emptied all the consoles and glove box, checked under the seats and cleaned the cargo area of any extra crap I keep there for trips.
Well they called Tuesday evening and told Scrappy it was done, She told them I was working and would pick it up on Wednesday. Well I picked it up and home I went. The car looked great, all detailed and clean. new bumper and some fresh paint. All good. I went to work at 2:30pm and didn't get home until 11:15, so Scrappy was never in my car.
This morning, I got up before Scrappy went to work had a coffee, read the forum some and did some other stuff on the computer. Days that I can, I stop and get Scrappy some pretzels from Philly Pretzels and drop them off to her at work. Well I did so again today. Well when I was leaving, I got in my car and opened a small console on my dash that I keep my cell phone changer in and I found this.
I went back in and asked Scrappy what it was and she said she had no idea and did not put it in there. She wasn't in my car.
i had it at work all night and it's on camera & locked.
I went to the body shop because it's right down the street to ask them. I asked the girls at the desk and showed them the vial. They started saying no one there should have left anything in my car for any reason. They went to the owner of the business who came out and when I told and showed him what I found he was adamant that no one there put it in my car, for any reason. He also said if it was found in my car when cleaning, it would have been mentioned and put in a bag, not just stuck in a console. He thought I was upset at first and was going to question his shop employee's until I told him that I wasn't mad, I was just trying to find out who did it and thank them for putting a smile on my face today.
So we still don't know how a vial of Pixie dust got into my car, but thank you, who ever put it there. It keeps the dreaming alive!
