We went to see Planes this weekend as a family. It was good but it seemed to be lacking a little something. I really like Dusty, Chug, and Skipper but I think the character development was lacking. I think there may have been too many characters they were trying to include.
Cars seemed to have it all together, and I feel in love with it instantly. I did like Planes but after Monsters U, I guess expectations were high and I was left a little disappointed!!
I had press passes before it came out but sadly didn't get to use them. I haven't heard an awful lot about it from anyone since it has come out.

You are right about the word of mouth thing. I haven't heard anything yet. We planned on it yesterday, but didn't make it. This weekend for sure because J is dying to see it. It is a trifecta for J, it is about planes, it is Disney and they visited his old boat to do some research, he is excited to see it.

The part on the ship was my favorite part!!
I just finished watching Planes. It was a cute movie.
