Please Send Good Vibes for Gem

This is Gemini. She's a good girl, but closing in on 20 years old and in a lot of pain. She doesn't move much any more, when she does her feet don't always work the way she wants them too. She's in a lot of pain. We love Gem very much, and it's difficult for all of us to watch her suffer.

Tomorrow morning (8/29) Gemini will be heading to the vet for one last visit, where she'll cross the rainbow bridge and finally be able to run free and play in the snow again.

I'm trying to be very strong for my family but I'm crying as I type this. As long as they don't see it's all good. This is the right thing to do and we all know it, but she is very loved. If you guys can spare some extra good vibes for me Monday morning I would sure appreciate it, I need all the extra positive energy I can get for me and for Gem.

It's ok to cry! Our fur babies are members of our families and they all have distinct personalities. Will be thinking of you on Monday morning and shedding a few tears myself in memory of my own pets. RIP Gemini!

I am so sorry and I know there are no words that will help as I have been there more than I care to remember. It is one of the hardest decision we ever have to make but we do it because we love them and we always want what is best for them. So today stay strong..as much as possible as Cam will sense what you are feeling and just hold her and love her while she goes off to sleep. Yes she will be with all our other furbabies that have crossed over and will be running and playing and waiting until you are both together again.

Hugs to you and your family. We have a 16 year old min pin who is very much a part of our family. I know what a difficult decision this is to make, but you are a great mom for making such an unselfish choice for your Gem.

Thank you so much everyone. We're home now, everything went very smoothly, the procedure is amazingly fast.
I was very happy for that. Luckily we still have a dog in the house, at least I didn't have to come home to emptiness. I know that this was the right thing, I'm pleased to know that she's no longer suffering.

Yes it is amazing and yes it is nice to not come home to an empty home. Take one day, one minute at a time. And remember your other furbaby will be feeling the lose as well.

Kristen, I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Gem. She was a very loved dog, and she knew it! She was lucky to have you, and you were lucky to have her. My heart breaks for you, but you did right by her right up to the end. Sending a big virtual hug your way.
