Well, the only way to "stop" them is if people stop buying. I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I can totally see older members (as in people who have been members for a while already) slowing or stopping their purchases of add-ons or going strictly to resale add-on contracts. Both of those things would be seriously limiting to the DVC sales. Disney doesn't look at a DVC purchase as a one and done thing, the add-on business is gigantic. If members begin to realize that all the value is disappearing from the properties they'll stop buying new.
