Here's the question my parents are asking me right now, so I thought I'd open it up to you guys -- what would you prefer in Port Orleans Riverside? The Mansions area or the Alligator Bayou area?

I prefer the Mansions. I've never seen Alligator Bayou in person (only in pictures) but the motif just doesn't appeal to me.

POR is my favorite resort and I LOVE the mansions. That said, I love everything about this resort, the mansions, the pool, the food court, the quiet pools, the marina, the boat to DTD...EVERYTHING!!!

My vote is for Alligator Bayou! We loved the Song of the South decor and the "quilts" on the "log" beds. Too cute.
I don't know anything about either one. Can someone tell me the differences?
That being said I think I'd have trouble resisting a place called "Alligator Bayou."
