Country Bears....I was in high school. I don't know if they still do this, but they used to come out in front of the Country Bear Jamboree and chase guests around and act silly. It was fun!
My FAVORITE picture ever!
This is from IOA in 2012...
Love the pics Eeyore, especially the one with your namesake - where was that taken?

Thanks Jan! That was in AK, in 2006. Wow, we were just dating, not even engaged yet.
We actually happen to be walking and Eeyore just walked right up and we were the first ones in line!

For some reason, this photo brought back a memory that serves as a perfect example of why Disney parks are the best.
It was 1977. I was in college, my middle sister was in high school, and my baby brother was 9 years old. I was already out of school, and the sister and brother skipped a day (with Mom's permission) so we could go to King's Dominion near Richmond, Virginia.
We happened upon a couple of costumed characters of indeterminate origin (probably Hanna Barbera characters). I think they were a couple of mice. So I posed sister and brother with the nice characters to take a photo. For some reason, sister broke into a somewhat embarrassed grin, and brother looked up at the characters with a puzzled expression. Turns out both of the characters were making extremely lewd and lascivious suggestions to my sister from behind their cute little critter masks.
I do have a photo, but it's not digitized. It's quite a hoot, viewed nearly 40 years later.

Funny you bring this up. I've never had a character at Disney act inappropriate towards me or anyone in my party. Even with these two characters, they would act silly, i.e. pretending to pick through my hair, but all in good fun.
At IOA, when I was on a high school trip, I had a character, don't remember the name, but he looked like a fox and carried a cane? Anyway, he, literally chased me around an area we were seated in waiting for our adult chaperones. At first, I thought it was funny, but then got annoyed. It was when he took the cane and came up behind me and attempted to put the cane in my private region, he was trying to lift up the skirt I had on....(which I had shorts underneath) Regardless, it was so inappropriate and his handler finally grabbed him and made him leave. We could not believe what we had witnessed. I am sure it was a teenage or college boy thinking he was having fun, but it wasn't.

Interesting...but I swear this incident happened at the entrance of IOA, where the lighthouse is? I could be mistaken about the character, but I know this did not happen in Disney.
I remember that Mickey was extremely pleased that I was wearing the Sorcerer Mickey medal at the end of my lanyard.
Zz.
No longer an active member.
This is from my most recent visit to Arendell. Anna and Elsa were very pleased with my pull apart Olaf. Elsa had turned his nose upside down and said that he really does look like a unicorn. The both of us got a really good laugh out of it.

Zapper is this Mickey at Epcot? My DH loves Mickey as the Wizard.
