Yea it was. They had Space Mountain closed for three days for refurbishment. It was a little odd.

This is us last Sept. on ToT, my DW, our two friends and me. Yes, the look of terror is real. This ride really does freak me out, the anticipation is awesome.

This one is the only pic we bought because we were stuck on the incline for over 5 minutes as the ride broke down. During the wait, the sound system kept repeating: "Please remain in your seats." My DS2 remarked that it would take a Hawaiian dive to get off. Once it resumed the sound track was off the rest of the ride and the fall was anti-climatic as the water cannon lacked pressure so it was like a squirt bottle. Thus this classic pic: (we are the front four, if you didn't guess)

Here's my La Cava ride..It was kinda like Soarin...After my 6th margarita, my feet levitated from the ground and I was whizzed up into the clouds, high above Spaceship Earth, then I flew over the monorail,followed the Sassagoula river,and landed safely at PORS...It was so surreal..When I told my DW in the morning she just shook her head and agreed that indeed, I was flying last night...See..I didn't dream it...

I'll have to look out some photos - I'm sure we've got a few official ride photos lying around.

One I certainly didn't purchase was one from Rock n roller coaster - Single rider -
After the ride was done we were looking at the screens for our pictures..
A little boy shouts to his dad "Look at that funny mans face!"
Yes boys and girls - That "funny man" was me experiencing the take off forces for the first time..
I hung my head in shame and walked out..
