Hey everyone,
We're still making improvements around here. In the not-too distant future we should move to a faster server which should be good for performance.
I wanted to get any opinions on the PM system on this iteration of the site. I know on the old forum one of the big drags was that you wouldn't notice when you had a new PM. Have you had a chance to try the PM system? Any thoughts?
Brad I think this is a great upgrade, getting that email notification is wonderful also seeing a note on the forum scrolldown really leaves no doubt.
I agree with Vette - the e-mail notification is a wonderful thing. 2 thumbs up from me

Yep - the emails are a good thing...'cause goodness knows how long before I would notice I had a message if left to my own devices...Everything looks great!

Heaven knows I am far from being an expert but have you gone to the "Forums" tab and scrolled down to the "edit settings" button and click on that and it will open to display a place to put in your email address to get PM's notification via email. If you HAVE done that then I give up and Brad or Admin will have to step in to straighten it out. Let me know if that is it.
I did have that checked -- I just looked. Maybe I got the emails and missed them - it's possible. I haven't received THAT many private messages on here.

I don't get emails either. I only noticed it on the scroll menu...a pop up might be nice..would that be possible?
