Not sure this will bother anyone, but we will be off the "grid" for a few days as today begins our move to our permanent digs. We knew when the house sold six months ago that this stop was temporary, but now we are leaving our community and many dear friends to begin the new part of our live as "retired" so we can be closer to family, our artistic endeavors, and well, other dear friends.
So for the next month, we are creating a new home, finishing the pit for a musical with friends back in our former home area, finishing teaching summer school (in our former home area), and then crashing in August. We are already discovering that retirement doesn't make you less busy, just busy in a different way BUT Sept brings DISNEY for a 7 days with dear friends with whom we share our artistic passions, and some beer passions ( )
We are excited about this forward step (no lawn and the spare room is DISNEY), but sad to leave behind so many good, kind people. Here's to smooth (albeit hard) moving with NO drama or unexpected distractions.
See you soon.
