Question

How many of you actually get time for R&R while your at the world? The last time I went, I came back more tired than when I got there.
While your visiting, when do you get time to relax? At the end of the day? Do you pick a day for drinks by the pool?
I'm hoping this trip wont be as hectic

We generally can't sit still for long no matter where we are, so R&R for us is about 2 hours at the pool in the middle of the day. We tried to relax in the hammocks at the CBR once but got bored after about 10-15 minutes....haha.

R&R happens at night for us. Sometimes finish up at 8pm and head back and chill till we hit the sack.

Jeff, Honey. You need an iPod with some chill music. You will NEVER get out of that hammock.

(Not a question I can answer. We've never had the pleasure of an extended stay. But I'd like to think that if we did, we'd do the "chill in the afternoon" thing.)

my friends and I relaxed by the pool in the afternoon before going back to a park. One day we got back a little later than planned and just relax by the Petals Bar.

Like the others we take time in the afternoons to relax by the pool and take a nap, especially if it is hot out! mickey

I know, I got issues, don't I...? That was also the year we thought it would be a GREAT idea to get up in the mornings before rope drop and jog around the entirety of CBR....in retrospect, that was not such a great idea and will never happen again.

The first year we went in 2009 we went hardcore all day long and did like everything there was to do. Last year and for all the years in the future we just plan on taking it slow and doing what we want to do. That being said we are still pretty busy but it's not like a rushed busy...it's a nice busy because we are doing what we want to do. But like hubby said, we usually relax in the evenings for a couple of hours before we head to bed.

There's a constant battle between DW and I. I want to rest, she wants to go, go, go. I think we arrive at an unhappy medium where I don't feel rested and she feels like we're wasting time. We haven't perfected our system yet. laugh

I tell this to Dave all the time. He hates it.

We come home from Disney World needing a vacation..which is typically why we go to the beach after Disney World. Like Jeff I am the kind of person who can't really sit still when there is stuff to do. We usually take a break by the pool in the midafternoon but after an hour or two I am bugging Dave to head back to the World.

we had a lot of that on the last trip we took because hubby isn't into all the big rides so it allowed more time for naps during the day.... def the most relaxing trip I've ever taken to walt disney word. I feel like the more I go, the more I take time out to just chill and not rush around doing theme park stuff so much.

ya I am still wiped out from our last trip. If I dont get to relax during this vacation I'm in alot of trouble. Maybe I should ask for extra time off and hang out in Maine for a couple days after the Disney Trip.

Disney is so exhausting. We always take a day off mid-week.

We usually go pretty heavy to start the trip and then eventually we get a bit taxed and start taking it easier.
