Well, first of all I would like to send out a HUGE thank you to Jeff and Joe!!! Thanks to your posting of the castle all lit up and your recent trip report, I am going for ALL THE CHRISTMAS STUFF. I was scrolling thru and stopped at the castle pick and sighed (loud enough for Joe to hear) when the show we were watching he said "go ahead and find a room for the weekend of the 21st and we can go see the Christmas stuff." I was tearing up already and was like are you serious to which he replies "I heard you when you saw the castle pic, let's do it." I swear, I have no clue how I got so lucky with him.
So we will be leaving around noon on Friday and coming home Monday
We are staying at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace next to Disney Springs Fri and Sat night. Friday evening we are going to walk over to DS for some shopping, eats and the Christmas Tree Trail! If we get there in time, I want to try out the new Wolfgang Puck restaurant and I may swing into Wine Bar George too!
Saturday will be Christmas Balls to the Walls!!!! Animal Kingdom opens at 8am and Magic Kingdom closes at midnight! Ak is my favorite park for decorations!! I can't wait to see it all again. We will make a quick loop around the park maybe wait in line for a ride or 2 and find some sort of Christmassy treat. Then off to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios for a little bit. Probably end up at Epcot since there is more to cover. The evening will end at MK I snagged a Jingle Cruise and Thunder Mountain FastPass.
Sunday we were going to get up and drive home but I conned my way into an extra night. We are going to hit HS and the rest of Epcot and head to Jacksonville for the evening around 6:00, we will get up early Monday to head home, we have to pick up Blondie then head home to celebrate Christmas Eve.
I would LOVE to make it to a couple of resorts but I don't think we will have time unless we hit the monorail loop before going to the MK. I have a list of treats I want to try and I have to see the Voices of Liberty's Christmas set!
I'm so excited!
"I do not like the cone of shame."
"I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. I want it more than I can tell."
"It seems to me that we have a lot of story yet to tell."
