Having always stayed at Moderate Resorts, I know that a limit of $1000 is on your Key/Card..( Now magic wrist band ) But I'am sure that I read that it was $500 for Value resorts and $1500 for Deluxe..Can anyone confirm that...

it's $1500 for deluxe- but very easy to add another $1500 when you hit the mark. You can do it from anywhere there is a phone.

As they explained it to us, the limit is the point at which they WILL definitely go ahead and process it to your credit card. As long as you have room on your credit card, the limit can be $1500 per day. They usually process once per day.

I know when you hit the limit, they will tell you and call the resort for you and you speak to the front desk and ask them to put another $1500 on your account. Then you can continue your merry spending. I never tried to do otherwise, but you may be able to.

In case anyone is not aware, you can at any time go to the front desk of your resort and get a printed, detailed report of all your purchases on your Magic Band. It lists each purchase, where it was and the amount. Then totals at the bottom.
We went to front desk during our trip and asked them to process to our credit card so we could reset our band to zero again. The problem is you have to pay the credit card off when you get home.
