Day 6

We slept in today Smile We planned the day for Hollywood studios. Had a noon time ADR for Mama Melrose. We arrived around 10:30 . Did a little shopping and checked out a few stores . we had a 11:15 FP for Toy story mania . It was closed due to technical problems Sad Had a little time before our ADR .We decided to go to Muppet Visions 3D . Surprisingly we enjoyed it wink . We headed over to Mama Melrose for our Lunch. They Opened at Noon so we were the second couple seated .We noticed the pizza being made while we were waiting and it looked so good. Mama Melrose is one of our favorites and a MUST for every trip!!

We Really liked our Meals and would recommend this place to anyone !! We Decided to take a little stroll around to help settle our full bellies. We made it to Beauty and Beast and was only a 20 minute wait before showtime. So we grabbed a beer and made our way to find a seat. Lyn loves this show ..She cries every time the beast is struck down . Another of our favorites is the Great Movie Ride, so we headed there and were surprised again that there was no wait. We love going down memory lane and seeing bits of the old classics like Wizard of Oz, Fred Astaire with Singing in the Rain and lots more!!! Star Wars was next and had underwater episode, a first for us. awesome Then we made our way to Indiana Jones, also a must, and was to see that the storyline changed a bit!!! they did a different middle scene this time so it was cool awesome. After a day of food and shows we decided to call it a day and we made our way to the Boat to head to the Boardwalk (was in line for 5 minutes ). Our ADR was at 6:20 at Flying Fish and we had enough time to enjoy a couple of beers and watched the People of Disney. We headed to the Fish eager to try this place as this would be our first time dining with them.

Flying Fish date

Rob Yellowfin Tuna Tartare and Crispy Tempura Tuna-Vegetable Sushi Roll Was Soo Good !!
Lyn Epcot Land Pavilion Sweet Bibb and Red Vulcan Salad Was another great salad !!

Lyn Seasonal House-made Sorbets

All the great reviews we read prior dining here, proved to be right on! The food was exceptional. After another great meal we were exhausted so we decided to take a cab back to AKL. We decided to stroll out to the campfire and check out the savanna at night . Got the night goggles and had a cool time looking at the animals. Sat back in couple chairs by the fire and relaxed for a few before taking the long hike to the room.

We came to the sad realization that tomorrow will be our last full day yuck Sad gaah

Day 7

We woke to giraffes eating outside our window muchlove on our last full day in Disney world. Sad( We made a few changes last night to our ADR for today. We where Suppose to have Lunch at Crossroads House of blues and Dinner at O'Hana .Since we were going to have an extra 2 points left over from DDP we decided to switch from O'hana to Yachtsman steakhouse to use the points. We Decided that a trip to downtown wasn't needed as our shopping was all done so we cancelled at Crossroads . We headed for MK for a few hours and decided to take our first time Magic Kingdom train ride around the park.
The train ride goes around the perimeter of the park with a few stops. We decided to get off at the stop in Fantasy land. We have never been at this part of the park and did a little exploring and window shopping. We can't wait for the Seven Dwarfs mines to open, looks like it's going to be an awesome ride ! We found ourselves in from of BOG and decided to stand in line for lunch, as it would be our first time there. It was soon to open and there were about 40 people ahead of us. They passed out menus while we were waiting, and we didn't see anything that we wanted for lunch. After waiting a few minutes, we came to the conclusion that dinner would be so much better for our first time here. We headed over to Liberty Tree to see if we could get in and were surprised they were able to seat us right away!! awesome

date Lunch

Lyn Tavern Fried Cheese

Entrees

After Lunch we caught the show at Hall of Presidents (first time seeing it ) and enjoyed it immensely !! Managed to walk into Mickey Philharmonic with only a 5 minute wait. awesome The park started to get crowded so we decided to head back to AKL for a drink down by the pool. cool This was our first time at the pool and we were able to get seats at the bar area...I ordered the Category 5 Hurricane (a rum drink) - my favorite drink in Disney. Lyn's drink was a black cherry lemonade (Vodka). After a few drinks, we headed to our room to get ready for tonight's last meal . Yachtsman Steak House has always been one of favorites upscale Restaurants and our second visit this trip. We were seated at a window overlooking the Beautiful pool. clapping We were waiting for our appetizers, when we noticed this gentlemen on bended-knee proposing a couple tables over. muchlove Another fantastic meal awesome top notch service, beautiful atmosphere and company muchlove

Diner date

Appetizer

Rob Shrimp Cocktail
Lyn Shrimp Cocktail

Entrees
Rob 16-oz Boneless Rib-Eye
Lyn 12-oz Prime New York Strip Steak

Desserts
Rob The Yachtsman Sundae
Lyn Pumpkin Cheesecake

Just can't say enough good things about Yachtsman !! It's a must on every trip (and sometimes twice ) muchlove muchlove

We finished dinner and decided to go have a few drinks on the boardwalk. Caught illuminations from the boardwalk for the last time this trip. sad sad Time to call it a night and head back to AKL. We love using cabs at night to get back home worth every cent !!

Woke up with plans on going to Boma for breakfast but decided just to do room service awesome (first time experiencing room service at Disney). They brought you everything you needed juice, coffee, toast and jellies. The breakfast was very good and warm awesome After breakfast we had the sad realization that it was time to pack to begin our journey home. We had a 3 pm flight, and all went smooth!

This was the first time going by ourselves and we loved it ! When we got home, it wasn't long before we were online booking our next trip...we decided a Thanksgiving Trip would be nice - now the waiting game waiting waiting yay

Thanks for Replying & Looking at my Trip report awesome I enjoyed going down memory lane of our trip and look forward to doing a pre trip report soon Smile
