Our luggage got to the room rather quick, we got unpacked and headed to the Magic Kingdom. We met the launch just as it was dropping off some people , but we were the only ones getting on the boat. Once over to the Magic Kingdom, it was about time to get something to munch on , so we figured what better time then to try one of these..............

Heaven on a waffle!

Well we had never had one before, but it is now on our "things to do every trip" list. Oh my god it was good!

Next I have to try the Turkey sandwich. But that's another trip.

Mr. Hub did you happen to see if they make these waffles gluten free? I've been dying to try one since they came out and we are going in October and Feb and my only issue is it has to have a GF option. I've got my fingers crossed that looks like something my daughter and I could split for breakfast! OR that I could nom on after my 13.1 before my wedding by myself!

Yeah if it's a Disney exclusive, you sort of throw price to the wind when your there. If it's something I can get anywhere, forgetaboutit! I truthfully didn't even know what I paid for it because we got some, ....other things too!

DWPixe I don't think they have a GF option, but I wasn't looking for it either. I also checked AJ's review on the DFB and there was nothing mentioned there either.

Thanks Eeyore & Jeff. Jeff I'll eat one in 2 weeks for you.

We got into EPCOT and headed right to Soarin to get some fastpasses and check out the times. The Disney magic was with us and just as we got in a line at a fastpass machine, the guy in front of us asked if we wanted to go on right away. We said of course, and he put some sort of card in the FP machine that gave him 5 fastpasses and there was no time on them, they were good for anytime. We thanked him and off he went. We still got our on FP's then jumped in line. Got to love that.

We did Figment (still miss the original) & Nemo and some walking around and then headed to our ADR at Le Cellier for CP lunch package. It was delicious

After lunch we strolled around WS to walk off the burgers from lunch. I had to try one of the frozen beers (it's just the head that's frozen). Nothing to write home about. Lets say there are much better drinks to try, but I did try it. We came back around and decided to get in line for the CP since the line was growing pretty good.

The CP was great, but it would have been much better at night I think. If we ever do it again, i'd like to do it when it was dark. We saw Neal Patrick Harris but if anyone wants to watch it, here is the full show from The Dis youtube site with Geena Davis:

After the CP, we walked our way around the WS again, did some shopping in Mouse Gears and jumped on Space Ship Earth.
We headed back to the Poly and were getting kind of hungry. Didn't have any ADR's for dinner, which is out of the norm for us, but we stopped by Kona Cafe to see if we could get in for a bite to eat. Well they were booked, but a the CM chekcing in said we could sit at Kona Isle and get anything off the menu from Kona Cafe, it was just first come first serve. All the window seats were open so we grabbed a seat. The waiter for Kona Isle was Brian, he stopped with in a minute or two, took our order, and we had found a new place to grab meal.

I ordered 2 sushi dished for my entree and scrappy had a coconut crusted chicken dish and everything was awesome. I also had my first Young's Double Chocolate Stout which was heaven in a bottle! It was really great sitting there at the window, watching the Monorail wiz by now and then, the hustle and bustle of people coming in and going out and hearing the Ah of the people that were entering the Poly for the first time. Brian our server was really cool too! He said he always eats out here at the window seats and said the people that choose to eat out here are more down to earth, which I took as a complement (he got a good tip, he knows how to work it! awesome ) and he had another beer for me before I asked. It took a little while for my sushi , but it was fun people watching. Scrappy went to have a smoke & do some shopping while I finished up since we were just going to go back to the room after dinner. Gave me a chance to to check my e-mails to see if Disney Floral had delivered scrappy's surprise.

MrHub, is one of those rolls the Luau Roll with the crabmeat and pineapple? That is one of my favorites!

Yes Kris, that's the Luau Roll on the combo platter and it was good. The other is the volcano roll, which is awesome! awesome

Although, somewhere I remember ready someone complaining because they left the sushi and vegetables hang out of the top piece on that volcano roll, that it was sloppy, totally wrong and not appetizing at all! Tasted pretty damn good to me. Ha ha ha! biggrin

Thanks mimi & Allie, now to continue:

I finished up dinner, paid and went and found scrappy and we headed back to our room. I still wasn't sure if Disney Floral had done there thing yet, but it was close to 9 pm so I was pretty confident they had. We got to our long house and I slowly got my video camera out of my bag, turned it on and stuck it in my pocket, recording. Oh and we also came back to this towel animal sitting on my bed. Our mouse-keeper was amazing and left a new animal every day.

We watched the fireworks from our balcony and then called it a night. Scrappy of course had to sleep with the Christmas tree lit all night!. I need to see if I took any pictures of the Christmas lights we put up too.
Here are some of the other towel animals too.

Love the tree video! That tree is solo cool. I would sleep with it on too! And keep it plugged in all year! Just a thought. And personalized to boot! Great job mrhub!

Isn't it great to get all those towel animals? The candle one was a really neat idea.

Tuesday we hung around the resort some then we met up with Jess, Mase & family over at AK . We met up with them at Expedition Everest & got both Jess & Scrappy to get on. Here is the result!

Afterwards we did Dinosaur.

We didn't hang long at AK. We said our good bye's for now and headed back to the Poly, after doing some shopping on the way out.

We had an ADR at Ohana's for dinner ,

We saw Jess & Mase's family briefly as we were leaving and then we headed over to the MK for our MVMCP!

It was our first time at the MVMCP and it was great!

The snow on Main Street was cool!

The Toy Soldiers are really great!

And after the parade we headed back to the Poly for the night!.

We met up with Jessi first, just outside of The Brown Derby. The 3 of us hopped on the Great Movie Ride:

Nor sure what order we did the rides but we did HM, R&RC & Star tours,

What he forgot to mention was how awesome him and scrappy we're to us and the kids...When they saw us at Ohana they gave both of the kids a mickey and minnie mouse christmas pin. We loved spending several days of our trip with them and hope to do it again sometime.....BTW now that you are on trip number two I think you need to finish up this trip report Smile
