Hey guys! I'm Sean from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I've been to Disney on several occasions as a kid, and once as an adult. Another trip planned in 11 days! WOOOO.
Very excited for this trip, because Halloween in my favorite holiday. So of course I reserved a Not So Scary Halloween Party for me and the GF.
Shes only been once, but never to Universal, so I also splurged on the Halloween Horror Nights! I can't wait! So excited.

I did not make any ADRs, because I planned this such short notice. Next time, I'll have to start planning for 180 days out!
We already have some nifty costume ideas for Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party, but I can't reveal that yet 
Still have to head t othe thrift store. Hopefully I'll post up some pictures of them before we leave.
I do a TON of travel for work, and when I do, I stay at IHG hotels. My point add up very quick, so I had enough for a free 6 night stay at the Holiday Inn next to Downtown Disney. The website says its recently been renovated and is now a Disney Property, and the buses come there, so it all worked out very good.
The GF has never been to Universal, and she is a massive HP fan. So we also have 3 days planned there

Ps. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan too, so I know your GF will love the Wizarding World!
Hello Sean and to WDW For Grownups!. Congrats on the trip, sure you will both have a ball. Regarding the buses, I do not think it is the Disney Buses that go to the hotel, but the hotel says they provide complimentary shuttle transportation. Usually the Disney transportation only goes to Disney Resorts. You may want to double check with them by calling. Either way, you shouldn't have a problem.

Yeah. The hotel says is an Offical WDW Hotel. I was only assuming that it was Disney buses. My last trip, I sayed in a Hilton where the Disney Buses stopped and picked us up every 30 minutes.
They very well may have changed and started picking up at other hotels. We never use Disney Transportation anyway, so I'm not an expert on it at all.

Yeah. I'll also have a rental for Universal and IoA. Do you recommend using other transport?
