SeaWorld's Blue World Project

Have you heard the latest news coming out of Sea World?

Blue World Project

Here's what Travel Weekly had to say about it.

The innovative project is fairly obviously a response to the negative press that came from the movie 'Blackfish.' The new Blue World Project will be sweeping all of it's Parks, starting with the San Diego Park, and putting a focus on more natural killer whale environments and different ways of interaction with the animals that keep trainers out of the water and focus on more research and education time. It sounds interesting and I'm really excited for the first environment to open in San Diego in 2018.

No word at this time when Orlando will open.

They have to do something but I fear the people who I believe have been 'sucked in' by Blackfish will probably say too little too late... (Sorry to those with opposing views, just can't abide that propaganda movie, not saying I'm right and you're wrong, just how I feel about it).

I feel sorry for seaworlds animals and the good that they do, like with the manatees in Orlando and can't help but think the loss in revenue must mean they have to cut back on that which isn't a good thing to me.
