Seen any good movies lately?

My husband and I have been on a roll lately seeing movies! We saw Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the new Sherlock Holmes in theaters and liked them both. We watched Contagion at home (Purell anyone?) and I really want to see The Descendants soon!

What have you seen or looking forward to seeing?

Haha - we finally watched Harry Potter! I'm probably not the best person to ask Smile At home, I am firmly hooked on Downton Abbey right now! Not a movie, but so, so good!

I am kinda looking forward to seeing more about Marvel's The Avengers. We also finally watched Captain America, so now I've seen both Iron Man 1 and 2, CA, and most of Thor. They were all good, so I might actually see The Avengers. Hey, with Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr, how bad could it be?

I need to watch Downtown Abbey because so many people are talking about it!

I LOVED Captain America and I'm really excited for The Avengers for pretty much your same reasons! laugh

I'm counting the months till The Avengers is released. I was a huge comic book geek back in the day - I don't read comics anymore but I watch all the movies based on comic books. And The Avengers was hands down one of my two or three favorite comics, so this one will be really special for me.

As for movies I've seen recently, we haven't gone out to a theater lately, but we've seen several pretty good films on disk via Netflix. Valentine's Day from last year is better than I expected; if you're looking for something romantic to do with your sweetie, try that movie in a couple of weeks. Beginners is touching, funny, and sad, and Christopher Plummer is up for an Oscar as best supporting actor. Midnight in Paris is a lot of fun. If I think of any others I'll be back.

I think The Avengers will be a lot of fun, I like that it is being told in the viewpoint of Captain America too!

I have seen Valentine's Day, I thought that was cute!

I will check out Beginners, I heard Midnight in Paris was really good too. Bring on anymore you can think of!

We don't get to watch many adult movies. Too many little kids running in and out but The Lady and The Tramp is released on Feb. 7th and I told my husband I wanted that for Valentine's day. He is getting off lucky this year so he had better jump on that chance. laugh
