Shakin' Away the I'm-not-at-WDW Blues

Inspired by Sally-Ann's thread and Kristen's article, I decided to do something about the fact that I can't plan a trip quite yet. (Yeah, it makes me *that* sad.) We're paying off credit cards and getting rid of most of them, so planning a trip is not in the cards (pun intended) for a while. I was hoping for Spring, but it's not going to happen.

So I'd decided to take some good advice, and start a little WDW fund. I grabbed a tin box, and each week, I'll stick in whatever I can, along with a picture I drew of one of my favorite WDW things. I'm no artist, but it's good WDW therapy. Today I grabbed the few bucks I had in my pocket from yesterday, said, "That'll buy a Mickey bar," drew a picture of my favorite Maelstrom, and stuck it in the box.

That's a really good drawing. I couldn't draw if my life depended on it!

It's funny, only today I bought a jar to save for extra treats in WDW, it's one that has to be broken when you want the money so I'm hoping to sneak a nice chunk of change in there for our trip in October Smile

Well, gosh and thanks. I'm not much of an artist, but it's fun.

Also, I'm aiming for Winter 2015, so, I can't reserve yet anyway. sad Tucking a few bucks away is a nice way to start planning, even if I can't think about reservations yet. I figure I'll easily have my deposit by the time they open 2015.

We have a Disney jar that we put change and a few bucks or whatever we have to spare! We start saving as soon as we get back from a trip. It's been about 15 months, our trip is Feb, and we have saved about $500 dollars! So it adds up!

I don't know if this was posted anywhere, so I apologize. We are in week 3 of January, but it's not too late to start:
