Should I Waitlist For Beach Club Villas??

Can anyone sell me on staying at the Beach Club Villas? I am thinking of trying to waitlist for a different room, and I've never stayed at the Beach Club before. Aesthetically I'm more of a Yacht Club kind of gal. Geordon however has always wanted to stay at the Beach Club and I feel sort of "meh" about it.

How is the quick service food there? I think I read that Beaches and Cream will be closed while we are visiting.

We have not had much luck with waitlist. We have only tried twice and did not get it either time. We have stayed at the a Beach Club but that was a long long time ago. At that time there were very little quick serve choices. I honestly think the Bakery was about it, and that is over at the Boardwalk. I still can not think of a real quick service place there although there must be one?

I'm pretty sure there is a Market Place in the gift shop area but not a true quick service. I would honestly have to look at the website....

We've gotten a wait list once and it was the only time I tried it so we are 100% laugh

I've gotten my waitlists before, though I haven't traveled at this time of year for at least a decade. I really love the MK resorts because it is so easy to spend time at the other resorts around the lake and lagoon. I'm just not sure if I would feel the same way at the Epcot resorts. The Boardwalk also doesn't have a lot of quick service, not in the way that the MK resorts do. After mulling this over overnight I'm leaning towards not trying, or maybe putting in for waitlist at a MK resort. I still haven't stayed at Bay Lake Tower and I would really like to do that.

I stayed at Beach Club the night before the cruise in October. I liked being so close to Epcot. I went into the quick service but just to get a resort mug to take on the cruise since I forgot to bring one with me. I got something to drink that night and cupcake and coffee the next morning. I didn't really look to see what else they had to offer food wise.
