Boatwright's at POR was popular for a while---not sure if it's still there. I know that Bob the Piano player at POR is a great draw, though he's in the lounge and not a restaurant...

My research suggests that Shutters is pretty middle-of-the-road. Although I'd really like to try some new places.

I think your Shutters experience will be defined by your expectations. If you go in expecting amazing food you'll be let down, but if you go in with low expectations you might be pleasantly surprised.
