Snow

Reports are saying that this upcoming weekend is likely going to be our annual last winter blast & there is a chance that conditions might combine to give us an extreme rarity in Florida, snow. And it will be happening in central Florida. So as a Florida native, I will chose to hibernate & probably stay inside all day. But how would you feel about Disney with a very light snow that only lasts a few hours. Would it intrigue enough to brave the frigidness? Or would you choose to stay inside with me? What are your thoughts?

Since I live in the land of snow (Minnesota) I'd be first in line for rope drop! I'd also assume most people would stay away that day, so HELLO SHORT LINES!

Living in Pa, a little snow would not bother me a bit either. I would spend the day in the Magic Kingdom enjoying every minute of the snow fall.

I also live in PA and though I am not a huge fan of snow.....I would put my winter coat on and enjoy the park or parks. Just think of it as frozen pixie dust!

I hate snow so I don't think I would like it even if it was Disney... Plus it would have to be in the 30's for that to happen and I would not want to be outside with it being that cold. Funny thing is my friend will be at Disney this weekend and she's going to try to get away from Ohio weather... Is it sad that I kind of hope it snows on her since she gets to be there and I'm still stuck in Ohio... Lol

I'm originally from PA and live in CT, so a little snow in Disney wouldn't keep me inside.

Haha - having left the land of snow (Minnesota) for darn good reasons, I would hibernate with you! The older I get, the less interested I am in cold and snow, no matter what!

I think it would be a pretty amazing experience....seeing snow for the first time at Disney. Living in SE Texas it doesn't ever really snow here. I would enjoy it for a bit with my teeth chattering and giant goosebumps, then I would find some warm hot chocolate.

It was 37 yesterday with snow on the ground and my daughter and I went for our walk outside. But that's what you do in Northern Illinois biggrin If I were in Disney, a little snow wouldn't stop me.

Another Northerner here. A little snow wouldn't keep me out of a Disney park.

Well, as a southerner, we would have to shut down the schools for a week and buy enough bread and milk for Armageddon.

But I think Disney would be kinda magical in the snow...with more excuses to buy that Joffrey's coffee and ride Ellen's Energy over and over. mickey

I think the Magic Kingdom, especially Main Street and Cinderella's castle would look so pretty with a fresh sprinkling of snow. I think world showcase would be great in the snow too. Countries like Canada and Germany would look more authentic if guests wore coats, hats & gloves instead of shorts and Mickey T-shirts!

I would hit the hot tub at the resort after a long snowy day at the parks.

I'm from New York; I would be right there with you!!

I love snow. Shoveling snow is the only form of exercise I actually enjoy. (And, being a teacher, I'm frequently home to shovel it when it really accumulates.)

Those of you who don't normally see it-- embrace it! While of course it can be a major pain in the.... neck... for a lot of people, it also has the potential to bring such beauty and joy.

People pay extra money to see Disney all done up for Christmas with fake snow. Why not go see the real thing?

So snow is a no go. There were some initial reports saying it might happen, but it simply won't be cold enough. So now it will just be damp and cold. Still some cool temperatures, but no snow. It is still interesting to see what everyone would think of Disney under these unique circumstances. While it would be interesting to see it, I still think I'd probably stay home. Don't make too much fun. Before too long we will be able to say who is ready for Disney in the 90s. That's my time to visit.
