Welcome! And I must ask - what is a twist cone? Sounds like I may need one.

Do you stay on property when you visit? If so, do you have a favorite resort?

Twist cones are soft serve cones served all over MK. We usually get them in Tomorrowland at the little cafe on the corner between Stitch and the restrooms. They're vanilla/chocolate swirl. I'm pretty sure you can't get them anywhere else.

When I was a kid, I lived in Florida, so we never stayed. The last four trips have been with student groups so we've gone cheap - one stay at All-Star Music and three at Pop Century. I love Pop Century for its dedicated bus routes.

This time we're staying in a cabin at Fort Wilderness. My husband and all his mom's family stayed there growing up and my mother in law is paying for the room, so even though I suggested AoA, we're "camping."

I'm taking my brother, his wife and my niece and nephew (oh and my parents) in October. I offered up AoA but they all wanted to do POFQ which I'm fine with because its one of my favorites, but I'm still dying to try AoA!

Aha. I have enjoyed one of those, in a cup, from that very spot. I am a softserve addict....my go to snack about every day I am on the property. I like Dole Whips because they are softserve-y. 20? Really? My kinda Disney person. mickey I rack up one a day when I am there...but have to restrain myself from having more than one.

Because we've been traveling with students, I've only eaten table service at a few places, but Teppan Edo for sure! We're hoping to hit Be Our Guest, Cape May, Ohana and Yak & Yeti this time out withOUT students. Smile

Let me know how Be Our Guest is! I love Beauty and the Beast. It is probably my favorite Disney movie ever.

Welcome! We love to "hang out" here! I agree with the above comment- anyone who eats that much dessert will fit in well here! We love food!
