So, based on wdwfan's Disney World refurb and closure list, it looks like Sounds Dangerous is going to be coming back on line (seasonally). Is this really true??? I thought this was shut down for good and being replaced.

I always get so into riding my favorite rides, I tend to miss a lot of the shows. I may have to set aside some time on my next trip, (If it ever comes 
) to see some of the ones I've missed, or only seen once. I suppose I can give up my 14,000th ride on Space Mountain to go see Laugh Factory again, or check out a new show.
As of last week (as recently as Saturday), it looks like it's still temporarily closed, with no way of knowing when it'll reopen. The days we were at DHS, there were signs saying that it won't be operating that day, but there was nothing that told us that it would be closed long term.

It is strange that if it's ever coming back that it's not designated as "temporarily closed."
You never know what temporarily closed means with Disney. At DLR, they put both the Rocket Rods and the Submarine Voyage on temporary hiatis...and they never came back. Well the Submarined Voyage did...almost ten years later...
I really, really hope it comes back. I've never gotten to experience it, but from reading about it, it sounds a lot like Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, which used to be at Disneyland and I LOVED it! 
So, heres hoping it comes back!

According to the site we use as Disney Travel Agents it says...
Sounds Dangerous - Temporarily Closed. Operates Seasonally starting 01/04/09.
No other word on it as of today.

To be honest This is one Disney Attraction you can do at home. All you need is a chair, dark room, and a set of headphones in front of a screen where you can watch the 5 minutes of video. Just shut your eyes and listen. The actual show file was on You tube but was removed for copyright infringement. However if the show is gone for good It should become available.
That's it for this weeks build your own Disney Attraction at home. Next week we'll do The Seas with Nemo and Friends using a fish Tank, pain of glass and an old TV...
