Hi guys--just wondering if anyone's tried any spa services at the resorts. I had a hot stone massage yesterday for the first time and am wondering if they offer this at WDW. It'd be super relaxing after a long day in the park.

I haven't tried any spa services, but here're a few pics of the Zahanati Fitness Center's spa/sauna/massage areas at AKL:
Looks like they have something approximating hot stone massage on the menu.
I was working out in AKL a couple of times and I saw some VERY satisfied customers coming out of the spa.
I've always thought it would be fun to do a spa day at Grand Floridian--mani/pedi, massage, sauna, etc. Maybe next time...

I have done spa treatments at the GF and while it was good, well I guess I just expected it to be better. I have been to spa's at casinos which were just as nice or even better than the GF. I had a facial and a sugar scrub treatment and again they were good but I just wasn't "wow'ed"
The facilities we not as nice and posh as I expected them to be either
Let's remember it all started with a mouse
The prices I've seen seemed like "first rate" prices. I was expecting they'd be really nice. Or maybe I've just never seen a "first rate" spa price and I'm naive.
I had a nail repair at the GF spa, not at all good.
I think the Spa at the Dolphin is much better as far as a true spa. For some reason, I think (and this is only my opinion) the cast members at the Disney Spas are just not up to the prices they charge. That was the impression I got whilst waiting at the GF SPa.
Spa services seem like something that should be right up WDW's alley, yet the reviews seem mostly negative. I wonder why.
Well...perhaps that's one of the things they "have to have" available, but don't put serious work into. It's unfortunate, though; anything that has to do with health/the body/cleanliness should be top notch at resorts of that calibre.

Plus "relaxation" is one of the big selling points of WDW for people like me. Don't mess up part of the relaxation scheme!!
