Splash Mountain Worm Removed

So I have reports that the Splash Mountain worm on the hook has been replaced with a feather lure?

1.) Is this true?
2.) Is it true at DisneyLand too?

I guess maybe the friendly looking worm about to get eaten by a fish is disturbing?
