Stitch's Great Escape

How do you feel about Stitch's Great Escape?

It seems like so many people HATE this ride. Personally, I think it's cute but nothing I would go out of my way & die over if we skipped it. Also, I think it's MUCH better than Alien Encounter of whatever the hayhay was there before.
I just think it's not that exciting & the atmosphere of the place (with the crazy seating contraptions) leads you to believe the ride is going to spin or do something exciting..what are your thoughts?
And if you hate it..what would you like to see in it's place?

I really don't care for it...but I agree it's much better than that dumb Alien Encounter thing. Surely they can come up with something better for that arrangement - maybe give us laser guns and spin us around to shoot stitch!

Honestly, I've never been on it. Alien Encounters scared the Lilo out of me when I was younger, and I haven't been able to step foot in that room since.

Sounds like there are mixed reactions here, too!! Laughing out loud

I think the seating contraptions are crazy, too -- I don't like being "pinned in" by anything...ever...unless it's a roller coaster! Plus, I like that I can "skillfully avoid" the 4D sensations at movies like Tough to be a Bug -- I want to be able to do so here, too.

Never went on AE before it, but I like it. It's silly and nothing special, but I think its fun especially with people who've never been on it.

I'm kind of sad I never got to ride Alien Encounter. It would be nice to have a "gear change" ride in the Magic Kingdom. Something scary would be a blast for me.

I swear every time I get on that ride all the kids on it scream about how they think it spins.

Same here. I only rode it once and I thought it was pretty cute, funny, but I expected it to be more exciting (I also thought for sure there would be spinning, because of the seats layout...silly me...).

I love all the burping and sniffing...

I enjoyed it. Wanted a bit more, but thought it was funny. I do miss the Alien Encounter though. I thought that was a lot of fun.

I wonder if they kept the equipment to "bring it back" somewhere. I never got a chance to try it.

I would assume they would? I mean is pretty much exactly the same. They only change the look of the animatronics and a little cosmetic things. I liked the original because it was intense like a slashing movie. Had the alien running around the place. Now its just funny and think for the type of style they had in place just doesnt work as well. But I love Stitch... and to see him funny in a kinda live aspect is nice.

Stitch and AE are basically the same, now stitch just runs the show and burps, yuck.

I dont like this attraction. I hate the bars on my shoulders, and I hate the burp smell Sad
I would have liked to have tried Alien Encounter, I heard so much about it.

We did AE and Stitch, and really thought they were just the same except for the Stitch vs. Alien character. Didn't liek either and don't go to Stitch anymore.

I love Stitch! He is my favorite and also helped my DF propose and he needs a better attraction! This "ride" does not do Stitch justice!
