Storm Struck!

While at EPCOT this weekend we enjoyed the new attraction Storm Struck..
I think we had some really high hopes for it but to be honest it could have been better.
If traveling to EPCOT it's in innoventions east, if the wait isn't long I would suggest going in and seeing what there is to see but we waited for close to 30min to go in and we left feeling we could have better spent that time standing in line for Soarin'.

Anybody else feel the same?

It's a cute little show, but not worth standing in line for more than 10 or 15 minutes, depending on when the last show started. If you have to wait beyond the next show to get in, don't bother. Come back another time.

Interestingly enough, I know of a cast member who worked on this attraction and also had to train other cast members to do it. He said that this is one of the most difficult attraction to work at, because of the "script" that has so many variations. This is because, depending what the guests at that session picked, the cast member must be able to follow the line of the script according to the poll results. So the script itself has a lot of variation due to that.

Interesting... mickey

I keep finding that innoventions attractions are rarely worth the wait... Here's a funny story from another forum member that made me laugh all day. laugh

I enjoyed the attraction but I found that it lacks the "repeatability factor". I have done it once and may do it one more time but that would probably be it. Once you kind of know what the questions and answers are, it sort of takes the fun out of it.

I started another tread about Innoventions in general. As I have always been rather non-plussed by it.

Also Colin did a post about Stormstruck at his blog.
