Is anyone into surfing or paddleboarding? We got interested while on a vacation last year and would love to find places around Orlando or out toward the Beach where we can paddleboard (and maybe even TRY to surf 
).
Not sure where waves are low (for paddleboarding) or high (for surfing) or where rental stuff is. Any suggestions?

We stayed at Cocoa Beach for a few days last time we went & they had tons of places that had surfing lessons. Ron Jon & the Cocoa Beach Surf Club were the ones closest to our hotel but I saw them all up and down the beach.

I had never really thought of the surfing in Florida. I'm surprised to hear there are so many spots. Maybe we'll go rent a paddleboard on our next trip.
