It is from Miss Design Berry INC on Etsy. She has tons of different designs. You can choose from a bunch of colors for the balloons and customize everything down to the shoe color! It's pretty awesome. I know she is quite popular. I had to wait about 4 weeks for a proof. I just approved it and they send it right to the printers. Oh and she can add pets to it too but I figured 1 dog 3 cats and 2 horses would be a little crowded lol.

Ok I need your opinion. Do I do a Candy Apple bar or no? I was thinking about doing one at the end of the night when it got late and someone wanted something sweet to snack on. I included some pictures of what it may look like. I think I would do the slice one, but put whole apples out and an apple slicer so people can do their own and they wouldn't be all brown, because I would have to cut them up the night before. And then provide the skewers and they can did it in chocolate, caramel, or both, and have a bunch of toppings to choose from, like nuts, jimmies, marshmallows, mini chocolate chips, mini peanut butter chips.

I also got my shoe stickers in yesterday. I think I am going to get another pair in case these don't make it down the aisle. I want to take some pictures before an after with them. Then I am going to change shoes anyways to either my broken in boots or flats so I can dance!

Devil's Advocate...I wouldn't take an apple because I wouldn't like not knowing who touched my apple slice before I ate it if they weren't pre-cut. Plus I think cutting apples is messy.

It's the same reason I don't like chocolate fountains. You don't know how many people are double dipping, or sticking their fingers into it. Add kids to the mix and yuck

I love the caramel apple bar. muchlove It's a great idea! Have you looked at miniature apples? They're only two or three bites big so no oxidizing or double dipping! awesome

I will have to look into that. I haven't been to Wal Mart in ages. So I have no idea if my local Wal Mart has them, but they would be a good option!

The lanterns are great! They'll look so pretty all lit up, especially as the night goes on.

I'm a little late to the party. Sorry about that. The lanterns are gorgeous! I love the caramel apple bar idea. A tip for keeping sliced apples from turning brown- dissolve a couple vitamin C tablets into a bowl of water and soak the apple slices in it for a couple minutes. The acid from the vitamin C prevents oxidation. You can also use lemon juice instead of vitamin C, but I've found the lemon juice masks the taste of the apples.

I haven't been very active lately. Adam's grandmother was diagnosed with stage four cervical cancer back just after Easter. We were hoping she would be able to make it to the wedding and everything looked good, but a couple weeks ago she went back into the hospital, and they said there was nothing more they could do for her. They sent her home to be with family and requested home hospice care. We sat with her and helped her. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done to watch someone who was so strong, and bold be tore down to nothing and have to be helped to pull down her pants and use the bathroom. She came home on a Thursday, and was very weak. Saturday was a great day she knew who we all were and even let us walk her outside to sit in her beloved screen house and watch the hummingbirds and the bees.
Saturday night went back to being bad again and she drifted off into basically nothingness. She was doing needlepoint in her dream like state and baking cakes and talking to those who have passed before her. She never came out of that state. Hospice helped make her as comfortable as possible. We laid with her in her bed and loved on her. We told her how much we loved her and how much we would miss her.
She passed peacefully on the 25th.
As I rushed home from work to say my final goodbye before the funeral home came to take her away. I was thinking how I regretted not changing the date when we first made it. She has expressed to be that she didn't know if she would make it that long. And I told her she would! She was 89 years old, I thought she was being silly and she would out live us all! As I was thinking about this and getting upset and angry with myself, a red cardinal flew out in front of my jeep and back as I was doing 60 mph. I was like whoa I almost hit that bird, then it dawned on me that was a red cardinal! I was always told by my Great Grandmother that a red Cardinal is a sign a loved one is watching over you. And I knew it was Gram and she was saying it was ok. She will be at the wedding anyways.
Even thought she wasn't my own grandmother I feel like she was. She was a spitfire who swore like a sailor like liked every minute of it. She loved farting and even had a clock that farted, and a fart machine she used to prank people with! She has stories galore. She loved the horses especially my mini Dixie who she regularly invited in her house. She loved all of her kids and grand children and great grandchildren. She also loved cribbage where she regularly cheated if you didn't watch her! I will miss her so much, I already do every day.

Here are a couple of photos of her that I would like to share with you all.

What a beautiful depiction of her passing you gave us, it brought tears to my eyes. I am deeply sorry for you loss. Please don't blame yourself for not changing your dates, I know that she will be there watching over your vows no matter what. I send peace and love and light to you and your family.
