Terrifying Thought!

I stumbled upon the trailer for High School Musical 3 last night and it got me thinking. While Pixar still makes good animated 'Disney' films that adults can enjoy, generally Disney is more and more targeted at 'tweens'. To target them they make programming that doesn't appeal to most adults (I think, I honestly haven't given most of it a chance, but I'm assuming here).
Historically Disney products have been so appealing because they can appeal to just about anyone, so one wonders if in 25 the parks will become less 'adult friendly' as we become unfamiliar with more and more of the merchandise and characters.
Or am I just crazy?

For us... we dont mind them. We have watched all of the High School Musicals. Watched both Camp Rocks. We recently watched Lemonade Mouth. For the most part we have enjoyed them, but our family has really liked Lemonade Mouth. It has a great message that in school... all extra activities should matter... not just sports. So we enjoyed it.

As for the tv shows. We actually watch Good Luck Charlie. Since you have a 2 year old... give the show a chance. You may like it and relate to it! lol! I know we do in this household! lol

well hopefully I can ease your mind.. at least slightly anyway...

At the Disney Store, our target guest remains the 2-8 year olds! We do carry merchandise for tweens (although not nearly as much as during the Hannah Montana/High School Musical heyday), and there's also some adult merchandise.

Disney is so broad and far-reaching that there will always be something for everyone

The appeal for everyone I think has stayed the for a long time, I mean really adults with families spend a lot of money on vaca's there but couples usually have disposable income to actually spend more on a 10 day vaca at WDW than a lot of nuclear families. Same as stores I think you need to attract everyone to make is the viable business that it really is.
