Curious how everyone who drives to the parks feel about the upcoming changes to parking at MK.

Interesting. My first thought was "Noooooo!" But then I thought the total time I spend in the MK Parking Lot is so small, that I really don't think it matters much in the scheme of things for me.
I do understand how some people commenting on the article feel a bit sad though - it's still the MK, the heart of it all!

I like it, mainly because it means that there will be new cast lanyard pins for each of the parking signs!

I think it would make it easier to find your car and they are Disney characters so I dont see why people would be upset

I think it's a pretty cool idea. If I ever drive to MK, I think I'll park in the Villians lot.

Ha! I think we would do the same! I'm sure we will still get sent to Never Never Land though and have to park in Zurg 6,000-6,250....

I don't like it, and I don't see the point. I don't see how it will be so much more helpful or better. Having said that...I'm not going to whine about a parking lot. Because, it's, you know, A PARKING LOT. Still, I'll miss the joke about "If you're parked in Mickey then you should be in California 'cause we don't have a Mickey lot."
I do love LOVE the idea of moving the heroes/villains concept to Downtown Disney. They could super use something that helps me remember where in the world I put that car.

I like it, and I like tying in a color code to it. The parking garages (where I always end up losing the car) in Chicago do a color code, and a level number, then they add in a sport ie. "Orange 5 Hockey" and even go as far in some of them as to add a special sound or music. I guess that they figure the more that ties in the more likely you'll remember where you should go!

Didn't they have characters before that marked each section? I thought they used to be DONALD, DAISY, MINNIE, GOOFY, PLUTO, and MICKEY.

Sometimes I wish I could stop being such a girl and make a decision. In one respect I'm all "that's so sad..that traditional characters should be at MK..this would be better at HS or something" but on the other hand I keep thinking to myself..it's just a parking lot.

That's what all the complaints are about Poppet, they are changing them.

I love the idea. It will make things easier for people to remember, and it may make people park in different locations to try to hit them all? Or they could play Disney Character Bingo?

I agree with Bella. Think the new characters could have been better used at HS. I like it just the way it is or was....
