Ticket Question

On my last trip to WDW, I got a room only reservation and purchased tickets on my own for the days I intended to be in the parks. For my upcoming trip, I got the MYW package. I will be staying at WDW for 7 nights, but 8 days. Will my ticket be good for just 7 days in the parks, so that I either have to find non-park things to do on my last day or purchase another ticket? Or is each "day" counted as 24 hours from when you first use it (so that if I started using it at 3pm on the day I arrive, it would be good until 3pm on the day I leave, if that makes any sense)?

confused

It goes by a daily schedule, not by a running 24 hour clock, if that makes sense. For example, if you enter a park late on a Wednesday night, and then go back early on Thursday, Thursday will be another day.

You might want to consider upgrading by one day, since the difference between a 7 day and an 8 day is not great at all.

As Imagineer said, days are just days--it makes no difference when you "first" use your ticket. Monday is one day, Tuesday is one day, Wednesday is one day, etc...

Now, I was always under the impression (and it's always been the case for me) that when you book a package with tickets for your entire stay, you're able to go into the parks for the full 8 days you're scheduled to be at Disney World.

You may be able to check your booking documents to see if you have an 8-day MYW ticket or a 7-day MYW ticket.

Thank you, everyone. I think I'll be okay even if it's only 7 days of tickets, because I have plenty of resort-hopping I want to do, and I can always save that for the last day. Still, it's good to know ahead of time for scheduling purposes.
