Wow--that'll be a lot of fun! I'm glad it's scheduled at a time you can go. We're headed down in October, so will miss tikifest, but it's something I've wanted to try out for a while.

We heard about it on WDW Today 
From what I understand, it's a beach party on August 3rd with prize drawings, and then a party in front of the Italy pavilion with drinks and desserts and prime Illuminations viewing.
