Time to choose

It's finally time! I'm with Verizon, so I have the option of an iPhone4, or a Droid 4g. Help me out here!

My leaning is toward a Droid, since the only Apple hardware I own is an iPod that I still haven't put anything on. (I got it for Christmas.)

So.... iPhone4

or

HTC Thunderbolt

or

LG Accolade

The two Droids look to be virtually identical, but I don't have much to go on to choose between them since the Accolade doesn't seem to have been around that long.

Nobody wants any Droid vs iPhone flame wars here muchlove but please give me the benefit of your experience. Thanks!

We just got a droid x after much debate. There's a fairly recent thread on it over here:

Oh... and btw... I think a Droid 2 is on the way if I remember right. So if you do chose that... wait a bit

I love my Droid 2..

but that might have to do with the fact that it's the R2D2 one.

I have t-mobile G2 droid and love it. Went from many blackberries to the droid and it's great. I've seen the i-phone, it's similar, but what I love about my g2 is that i also have a keyboard, not just the touch screen to type which can drive me batty sometimes.

Plus more and more iphone apps are now out for droid, and there even some on droid not for iphone, so that shouldn't be a consideration anymore. yOu can get 1 free app a day at the amazon app store too along with one free song from the amazon song store (their choice), but i've gotten some great ones that way.

I'd go droid, they are more open to sharing to new phones, etc in the future as well.

A 3G. Older than dirt in technical circles. I know, I know - I need to upgrade. But I under-utilize the one I have.

I inherited my mom's 3G when she upgraded to the 4. I'm happy for now, since I have very few iPhone vices Smile

My phone is a google phone, that's why i can get the disney wallpaper app, iphone can't. Yes you can make your own, it's just fun to have an app with tons to choose from that are already sized to fit the screen.

A free amazon song and app a day is pretty cool, may not always download them, but I love the option.

My phone is a google phone, that's why i can get the disney wallpaper app, iphone can't. Yes you can make your own, it's just fun to have an app with tons to choose from that are already sized to fit the screen.

A free amazon song and app a day is pretty cool, may not always download them, but I love the option.

Actually... I just checked and there are two apps for wallpapers. One regular and one holiday. I guess for me when it comes to wallpapers. I either make mine or use google cuz now you can put in the dimensions you want for the image and that's all it will pull up.

By all technicality shouldn't you have the cooler phone then your mom...LOL. I had a little 80 something year old lady as a patient last week and she was rocking the iphone...it was so funny
