Scrappy we thought of you two when we heard of the storms path, How did it go for you and how much snow did you get? Hope you don't have much area to shovel.

The snow is still here and I am sure it will be for quite some time. I guess we ended up with about 2 feet. The roads and parking lots have been cleared so most people are out and about today. We live in a community with a HOA so we do not really have to shovel anything. Mrhub did shovel a bit in the back yard to give room for our dog to go. We are however expecting more snow on Tuesday night although they have not really said how much to expect.

We got about two feet in PA as well. We have a detached garage, the snow was almost up to the (pedestrian) door handle and there's a six inch step up to that door. I have, personally, never seen so much snow. Not even when I've been to the mountains or to ski resorts. Clearing two feet of snow from your car in snow up to your knees is not a fun time. Thankfully though, they do take good care of the roads around here. Yesterday would have been tough without 4WD/AWD, but roads were not bad at all today.

edit: Wow, the time-lapse didn't load right the first time. Now that I made the post it did...that is awesome!

I was wondering if you guys were buried!

Glad to hear that you and MRHub, and you, LIFL, are starting to climb out from underneath it all. I know the feeling having grown up in Buffalo sad sarcastic and living most of my life in the northeast. I was just saying to my husband the other day that this is one of the first "major snowstorms" that I haven't been affected by!
