Today's press announcement from the Magic

Wow sailing on DCL out of New York in fall 2016 or Canada, the brief I've seen does look good and NYC is on my list of must goes.... Maybe combine that with a Disney fix.... Ooohhhh

What did everyone else think of this announcement?

Fall 2016 dates out on 20th May, at least I have a couple of days to read up.

I live in NY and I have mixed feelings. I have no interest in cruising to see foliage- I want sun. Doing the Disney Cruise and then returning to NY without doing WDW proper does not appeal to me either.

My family and I have considered doing a the East Coat Canadian cruise in the past on another line, so I love that DIsney is offering it now. If we had the money I would go. Smile

I'm with the Colonel. Unless that cruise ship is sailing from NY to the water waters of the south, I have no interest.

I'm seriously freaking out over this! yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay

It's right up my alley. Being the porcelain, Celtic creature that I am (I basically burst into flames in direct sunlight) the Caribbean doesn't have much pull for me. I suffer through with lots of sunscreen and diving from shady spot to shady spot like a bad P.I. in FL only because it's Disney. rolling

DH and I had talked about taking a NE/Canadian cruise in fall of 2016 anyway. If we can get the Disney experience too??? I'm beside myself! lol yeah yeah yeah stars stars

Bonus for DH: Disney experience without having to fly (we live in Upstate NY, hellooooo train!)

Just read up some more on it. Good news for The Colonel and TinkASL.....they ARE offering cruises to the Bahamas out of NYC. They also include WDW on their way to Castaway Cay. clapping

Sorry but I couldn't just do a one day shore excursion to WDW. It wouldn't be right. JMO.
