Traveling with ECVs - TIPS NEEDED!

We will be traveling in November and my family will be tagging along this time. I'm renting ECVs for both of my parents as they both have really bad feet and get worn out very easily. This will be our first time traveling with someone with a scooter so we're looking for tips or advice from anyone that has experience with this. Are there any queues, shows, etc that you recommend NOT taking the ECV in and instead parking the scooter out front? They can walk for short periods of time but ideally they will use the scooters when possible so they don't injure themselves or wear out too quickly over our 10 day trip.

I really hate taking my ECV into shops and Quick Service Restaurants, it's doable, just difficult. If they can just park outside and walk in those places it will be so much easier for them.

Pirates of the Caribbean requires guests to transfer out of their ECV and into a push chair before the queue. I just walk it when I can, the low light and inclines in the pirates queue makes it an adventure as far as the push chairs go.

The Haunted Mansion queue is also one that I avoid in the ECV, while you can take them through, I feel like it diminishes the experience. For me it's also a painful ride through the queue and jars my back too much from the cobblestone.

Etiquette-wise, it's really difficult on the path ways when ECV's drive side by side. Try and keep them one in front of the other, but make sure that neither gets the feeling they are traveling alone.

The Disney buses can take only 2 ECVs at a time, just something to keep in mind if it's crowded while you are there. You may have times when your party has to take different buses to get to your destination.
