Of course none of us ever stick with our original plans for very long, so I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that we've adjusted some things in out itinerary!
After a very nerve wracking time schedule that was wrought with delays, we dumped Whispering Canyon as a late lunch on our arrival day. It took me a few days to find an open reservation, but we got back into Cape May Cafe, which we enjoyed immensely last weekend. So that gives us three hours built in for delays.
We also very much enjoyed the spicy chicken waffle at Sleepy Hollow, so we'll probably opt for that over lunch at Casey's Corner or Columbia Harbor House. It really doesn't matter when I suppose, but I want another one of those sandwiches! Wow!
I did end up booking Turf Club for dinner before the race. We'll eat about 4 hours before start time and that should be plenty of time for me to be full but not over full.
I tried to swap my Buzz Lightyear FP for another 7DMT FP, but no dice. I'll try a few more times, but we will get to ride 7DMT several times, so it should be fine either way.
Be good at something. It makes you valuable. Have something to bring to the table because that will make you more welcome. --Randy Pausch
