Trip report- A Jedi craves not these things

they said allow three to five weeks for delivery, so who knows.

I guess with under a month to go, this went from a pre-pre-trip report to just a pre-trip report.

I'm doing the seven day dance!

Sure- stand clear though, people tend to get hurt when I dance. Hey- are you going to be at MK rope drop 5/22 at 6am?

I'm going to try but my flight lands at 10 the night before. I kind of know what Michael looks like or you guys might recognize me. Anyway we're bound to meet somewhere.

If you see me, I want you to say very loud, "hey there's The Colonel and Mrs. The Colonel!" Go ahead, make my day.

And if you add a great big "Kungaloosh" I'll have to salute you!

where is the webcam?- i'll let you know when we are there- we those tees I bought

Ok- I've been home for a few days. We had a great trip. I'm going to write some kind of trip report.

At great expense, I added two nights to the beginning of my trip in order to attend the 24 hour event at MK 5/22-5/23. My flight arrived at about 10:30pm on 5/21. By the time we settled into POP and got to bed it was almost 2am. I set the alarm for 4:30am. I never heard the alarm, woke at about 6:10am. Mrs. C was ready to go, but I reasoned that since we missed rope drop, we may as well go back to sleep and that's what we did. So we woke at about 11 and spent the day at the Pop pool relaxing. The new plan was to hit MK about 6pm and stay through the night.

Pop wasn't bad. I would definitely stay there again in a pinch.

We walked across the bridge to Art of Animation. It looked pretty cool.

The 24 hour thing sounds better in theory than it actually is. It was cool to see a parade at 1am and go on HM at 2am, but it got tiring pretty fast. Disney really didn't put much effort into it. The only thing really going on after 2am was a couple of dance parties; a big one in front of the castle and another in Frontierland. Most of the rides shut down and the only places to eat were Casey's and Plaza Ice Cream. The fact is that about 4am to 6am was an endurance test. But we were committed to stay till the end. I don't know how people did the whole 24 hours. Then at 5:30 there was a little parade down Main Street to the train station and a little show from the train station and it was over. It took almost 2 hours to get back to POP on the Disney bus. I'm too old for this crap.
